My stripped-down Goldwing has a nickname: Chewy. Chewy's kind of hard on tires.
Chewy is a good bike, comfortable, fast, dependable. They don't really soup-up Goldwing engines, but Chewy has souped-up suspension from Traxxion as well as a Russell seat and special handlebars. Chewy can do it all: roll across the country or around the neighborhood backroads.
The saddlebags, the top case and the new square soft luggage together hold plenty of stuff. I really like the new soft luggage. I have removed the Givi mount and plan to only reinstall it for long trips. The Corbin saddlebags will always be on there, but my stripped-down Goldwing will be mostly naked most of the time again.
The soft luggage straps on in seconds with ROK straps.
My motorcycle runs like a bat out of hell
and it sounds like a sewing machine.
My friends have to cheat just to keep up with me
cause it's the fastest one they've ever seen.
